Blue Edition
TRAVEL MOSQUITO NETS WITH EXTRA PROTECTION
Unfortunately there are mosquitoes in the most beautiful and remote areas of the world. Or maybe especially there. But that should not stop you from traveling to these magical places. Because with our mosquito nets you are on the safe side worldwide.
A travel mosquito net has of course the task to guarantee you quiet nights. In addition, it is especially important when traveling to tropical and subtropical areas to protect yourself at night from mosquitoes that can transmit infectious diseases such as Malaria. Here it is necessary that the mesh size is adapted to the most common mosquitoes on site and at the same time allows good air circulation in hot countries. This is exactly what our travel mosquito nets of the Blue Edition provide – in pyramids and cubes form.
Extra protection is give through a special impregnation recommended by the World Health Organization for such areas. Our Blue Edition offers this additional security through an impregnation woven into the synthetic fibers. Mosquitoes that scour the mosquito net for openings at night or try to pierce the body adjacent body parts, are rendered harmless by the drug and fall off the net.
These nets are definitely the kings of the jungle and will protect you on your journey.
The kings of the jungle
TWO FORMS. ONE SYSTEM
Just as important as the mesh size is the choice of the right shape. Our travel mosquito nets are available in two different designs – as a pyramid or as a cube. All nets, of course, have our patented tensioning system and secure entry with zipper.
With this combination of features they are unique in the trade and offer extra protection when traveling. Thanks to the high quality of our materials, they are among the safest travel mosquito nets you can find on the market.
DOUBLE SAFETY ON TRAVEL
An impregnated travel mosquito net can be vital!
Especially in tropical destinations, a single pass may be enough to infect with a dangerous disease, such as Malaria, dengue fever, West Nile fever, yellow fever or the Zika virus.
Here you should not blindly rely on the mosquito net on site and definitely lead an impregnated mosquito net with you. In malaria areas, which include some areas in Southeast Asia, the nocturnal Anopheles mosquito is almost exclusively responsible for the transmission of malaria (the WHO refers to more than 250 million new diseases each year).
An impregnated mosquito net therefore offers double protection. Thanks to this protective layer, a mesh width of 156 holes per square inch is sufficient here, which allows more air circulation, especially in hot and humid areas.
WHEN SHOULD AN IMPRESSIONED TRAVEL MOSQUITO NET BE USED?
Basically, the World Health Organization recommends for destinations where mosquitoes transmit diseases (such as malaria) mosquito nets with impregnation.
Our mosquito nets of the GlisGlis Blue Edition are impregnated with an effective mosquito repellent. This impregnation is durable for up to three years with daily use of the mosquito net and prevents mosquitoes from staying on the net and trying to sting through the net. Additional protection against bedbugs and fleas is also given here.
